As a Utility Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in one of the highest-profile schemes in the UK—delivering HS2. Your primary responsibility will be to manage multiple utility projects within a budget and specified timeframe while ensuringpliance with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations.
Your new role
1. Coordinate utility diversion projects, including water, gas, electric, andmunications assets.
2. Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth execution.
3. Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Work Package Plans (WPPs).
4. Maintain daily records ofpleted work, program delays, and other relevant details.
5. Collaborate withmercial teams to address changes or issues related to contracted work.
6. Attend weekly progress meetings with clients, representing Kier positively.

Responsibilities:Understand utility projects thoroughly.Prioritize Health and Safety on-site.Effectively manage staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers.Ensure safe and productive delivery of work on-site.Maintain awareness of project costs.Supervise specialist subcontractors according to specifications and schedules
What you'll need to succeed
9. Experience in the utility industry, preferably in delivering multiple utilities (water, gas, electrical,munications).
10. Excellent organisational and logistics skills.
11. Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements.
12. Technicalpetence and confidence in managing site teams.
13. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
14. NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) Supervisor qualification.
15. Suitable Project Management qualification.
16. First Aid certificate.
17. Ability to confidently oversee site operations.
18. TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) knowledge.
19. Valid driving licence.
