THE ROLE
Permanent Job | Office based | Starting a.s.a.p.
A Telesales operator is required to join the team, taking responsibility for all direct-to-consumer sales work and to assist on specific business-to-business channel development.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Partnerships who is responsible for all sales channels.
The role will involve responding promptly via telephone calls or email to all inbound consumer enquiries. It will also involve significant outbound calls to warm leads. The role holder will oversee the end-user sales qualification and engagement process, develop and perfect customer communications, and feed into development considerations.
The Telesales operator should be committed, hard-working, confident, and be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude in an environment where we are all expected to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in. You will be learning on the job within a supportive management structure. We invest in our colleagues and want to see the role holder grow and assume more and more responsibility as they develop and learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Qualifying and responding to leads and ready for them to be passed on to BDMs to close or pass onto Approved Installers.
2. Ensuring all generated leads are thoroughly qualified before being closed won/lost.
3. Answering inbound enquiries from the website.
4. Managing existing sales pipelines.
5. Feeding into the development of sales processes.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal Telesales Operator will be passionate about the clean tech industry, eager to work in a start-up, and happy to roll up their sleeves and take on anything that comes their way.

3. You are articulate, both verbally and on paper.
4. You are a confident communicator – including when asking for help when needed.
5. You are keen to rapidly grow and develop with the company and can demonstrate you’re capable of taking on greater responsibility as the business grows.
EXPERIENCE (preferred)
1. Prior B2B / B2C sales experience would be beneficial.
2. Confident on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Experience in the use of a CRM system or the Google suite of tools.
