Quality Assurance Manager Eye, Suffolk Monday to Friday Competitive salary We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our ambitious technical team at C&K Meats, based in Eye, Suffolk. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. Leading and mentoring our Quality Assurance team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of HACCP principles, quality assurance methodologies, and the ability to analyse data effectively to drive improvements. The successful shall have a strong understanding of BRC. This role is crucial to driving improved Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and audit results across our site. You will influence - and work collaboratively with - the operational teams and agree solutions together. Reporting to our Head of Technical, you will be accountable for the daily management of our Quality department and related functions, as well as development of site standards to ensure product quality and safety are not compromised. The role will include: Being a champion for the Food Safety Culture Action Plan Driving environmental hygiene standards on site, acting as the primary contact for the contract hygiene team and liaising with hygiene product suppliers Developing the Quality Management System (QMS), including internal auditing against BRCGS and customer Code of Practices as well as the identification and correction of non-conformances Managing and maintaining scheduled GMP, Fabric & Glass and Plastic audits Managing and maintaining the non-conforming product log to ensure timely and corrective actions are implemented and recorded, actively working with key stakeholders to resolve issues Liaising with production colleagues in the preparation of product launch documentation Assisting in management of traceability and mass balance exercises and schedules Coordinating customer complaint investigations, formulating responses and identifying corrective action plans Skills and experience we are looking for in our new Quality Assurance Manager: Demonstrable experience in a food manufacturing quality role, including team management HACCP Level 3 Internal Auditor Level 3 CIEH Level 3 Food Safety for Manufacturing Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills Good communication skills What we can offer you: Competitive salary 33 days holiday, including Bank Holidays, with an option to buy up to five extra days Working hours: Monday to Friday Access to GroceryAid providing emotional, practical and financial support Benefits and recognition hub - including amazing colleague discounts
