What you'll do and what we offer
As a Managing Consultant, Delivery, you will be considered an expert in your field and a leader within the Professional Services function. You will provide guidance and support to multiple concurrent projects and the professional services organisation at large. You will partner with project managers to ensure the agreed outcomes of implementations are delivered and will be accountable for the quality and robustness of the delivered solutions, client satisfaction, and enablement.
You will demonstrate product mastery and provide confidence, innovative solutions, and leadership which enables clients to build trust in our products and capabilities. You will manage risk and think commercially as part of your decision-making process, looking out for challenges and opportunities for Aptitude’s growth.
Managing Consultants lead and guide best practice delivery approaches in new verticals and product initiatives. You will ensure the team is actively engaging with other project teams to share knowledge, best practices, client experiences, and lessons learnt. You will liaise with Aptitude’s product development teams to inform them when clients’ requirements cannot be met by the product.
As a Managing Consultant, Delivery, you will be regarded as the “go-to” person within Professional Services for functional or technical guidance. You will participate in product steering, ensure client and market demands are documented, and engage with the wider organisation to help drive product priorities.
A key part of this role involves managing and developing other Technical and Functional Consultants, including responsibilities such as Career Management, Training, Compensation reviews, and Employee Relations.
The role will involve significant travel in-country and/or overseas. Although not exhaustive, the Managing Consultant, Delivery, must be proficient in the following Skills and Behaviours.

* Ability to establish and maintain a “trusted advisor” relationship with clients and stakeholders.
* Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level, finance, IT, and project teams.
* Collaboration with sales teams to represent Delivery on sales opportunities.
* Ability to develop and present a vision of a fit-for-purpose and future-proof solution.
* Experience in assessing delivery risk and developing plans to mitigate issues.
* Implementation of best practices and principles for the implementation team.
* Provide risk and issue management assistance for delivery teams.
* Design solutions that support functional and technical requirements.
Strategic Initiatives & Organisational Leadership
* Identify and lead initiatives to improve the operations of the professional services organisation.
* Participate in cross-functional leadership teams to ensure alignment of Sales, Product, and Delivery functions.
* Provide valuable input into resource planning/forecasting.
Business Analysis
* Coach and mentor consulting teams on business analysis approaches.
Implementation
* Demonstrate cross-domain capabilities to advise and guide clients.
* Lead the development of guidance and best practices for Senior Principal Consultants.
