About the ASYE role: The Waltham Forest ASYE programme is a comprehensive introduction to the profession for NQSWs, with monthly dedicated training, on-the-job targeted learning and reflective safe spaces. Successful applicants will be supported by our professional practice lead and our emphasis is on learning and reflection so that NQSWs finish their ASYE experienced and confident in their role and their identity as a social worker. Over the years our ASYE programme has produced several Newly Qualified Social Workers who have been recognised by both internal and external stakeholders for the high quality of their work. Please ensure you meet the minimum criteria for applying: You must be eligible to undertake the ASYE under the national criteria: You must have been awarded an eligible social work qualification. You must be professionally registered with Social Work England prior to starting.
