Due to maternity leave we are excited to offer an opportunity to work in the stroke team for a year. In this post you will work alongside the Band 7 stroke dietitian to help deliver care to patients across our busy Hyper Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation unit. This role will be based on the stroke ward so will involve a high level of multi-disciplinary team working. A strong knowledge in nutritional support will be essential.
Main duties of the job
You should have good post registration experience of working as a Band 5/6.
Day to day activities will allow you to develop a wide range of clinical skills. Within the wider dietetic team, there are opportunities to develop other skills such as supervision, training and taking part in/leading on audits and QI projects.

* BSc. or MSc. in Nutrition and Dietetics Or BSc. in relevant science followed by Post Graduate Diploma or State Registration in Dietetics
* State Registered Dietitian with the HCPC

* Evidence of further study relevant to post

* Knowledge and experience of working clinically in the field of dietetics.
