Business Studies Teacher
Protocol Education is looking to recruit a Business Studies Teacher in the Bristol Area. Both full-time and part-time roles are available with the main key aim to deliver the subject-specific curriculum and support students in their learning and preparing them to effectively undertake their GCSE examinations.
The successful Teacher will work closely with the whole Business department to embody the school's approach to learning and hold their values in high regard while acting as a role model throughout your time in the school. The school is looking for a dedicated member of staff to join their department to deliver KS3 & KS4 lessons. If applying for a full-time role, this will include a regular tutor group, planning & marking, which will include a timetable that allocates PPA time, as well as extracurricular activities available if desired.
Required:
1. QTS qualified
2. Previous experience teaching Business Studies
3. Ability to complete planning and marking in accordance with the curriculum
4. Full-time availability
5. Suitable references and an accurate and updated DBS check
The candidate will:
1. Be excited and keen to teach and lead lessons, and be an expert in their subject field
2. Have prior experience teaching GCSE content to a variety of learning abilities
3. Approach students with care and compassion with a genuine drive to encourage and support their learning journey
4. Have an open-minded approach to teaching
5. Be supportive and positive toward students and their learning
6. Act as a role model for their students and display a contagious love for the subject.
