As a Senior Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) within our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, you'll be a pivotal part of ensuring seamless patient care from referral to discharge. Reporting to the Divisional Business Support Officer/Business Manager, your expertise will drive proactive management of patient pathways while supporting and guiding your team.

• Handle HR issues aligning with Trust Policies. Guide new staff induction and support with training on departmental policies.
• Assist in implementing new technologies/procedures, collaborating with relevant departments.
• Manage sickness absence, annual/study leave, appraisals, and recruitment for the department's staff.
• Liaise with Business Manager and clinicians, addressing departmental concerns.
• Oversee Patient Pathway Coordinators, Clinical Typists, and Records Assistants, ensuring task completion to meet quality and target standards.
• Collaborate with the Business Manager to address any performance concerns, implementing agreed Standard Operating Procedures.
