Don't miss out on this opportunity We are seeking a proactive self-learner with a passion for public relations and communication who wants to become a B2B PR Intern at Sony Europe. You will be an integral part of the PR team involved in all activities for the B2B businesses including collaborating with agencies, coordinating events, drafting press releases, leading influencer campaigns, monitoring coverage and reporting, and arranging product reviews.\u00a0 Throughout this 12-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge in public relations and influencer marketing, and gain valuable transferable skills, but also to get an exciting insight into Sony\u2019s PR operation actively contributing to our media presence in Europe. Working within an established team, you will be offered experienced mentorship alongside multiple development opportunities. \u00a0 Throughout the placement, you will: Provide event support at European trade and consumer media events, including coordination, logistics and on-the-ground media liaison and product demos. Develop an understanding of consumer insights and target audiences to develop creative, content-led and sustained editorial PR campaigns for our products. Support influencer marketing campaigns including the selection and vetting, coverage monitoring and analysis. Draft product press releases. Analyse media and influencer coverage and produce coverage reports. Coordinate information between central and in-country PR teams to maintain coherency in communication. Support the team with administrative tasks (e.g. maintaining a shared drive, preparing documents and presentations, and raising purchase orders for suppliers). Work with the internal communications team to ensure employees are kept up-to-date with interesting and timely PR topics, such as product launches, awards, and coverage. You will bring: Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Openness to challenges and being challenged Strong attention to detail and outstanding proof-reading skills. Self-motivated, organised and inquisitive attitude. Enthusiastic and proactive demeanour to working on evolving projects and ad hoc duties. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint). Our recruitment process The job posting will be open until 10th November. Afterwards, the selected candidates will be asked to complete an automated video interview. In December, the best-performing candidates will be invited to an interview. We are aiming to finalise our recruitment process by the end of December. Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, there will be regular catch-up calls with the program coordinators and current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance and further information on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with the other future interns who will form the 2025 Sony cohort and start building your network.
