Job Title: Production Operative (Marking & Cutting) Location: Precast Factory Pay: £14 per hour (Temp to Perm) Hours: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Production Operative to join our team at a busy precast factory. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for marking out and cutting both wood and steel to support the next day's production. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to secure long-term employment with the potential to go permanent. Key Responsibilities: Marking out and cutting materials such as wood and steel according to production plans Preparing and organising materials for the following day's production Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth production flow Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Requirements: Experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or precast environment Good understanding of using hand tools, saws, and cutting equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of health and safety practices in an industrial setting Benefits: £14 per hour, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (2:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Ongoing training and development opportunities If you're an experienced operative with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
