Job title: Lead Green Energy Advisor
Location: European Economic Area (Remote)
TGRC is seeking a Lead Green Energy Advisor candidate with previous experience in Corporate Renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs and Virtual PPAs), entrepreneurial spirit to actively engage with new target accounts, used to interacting with counterpart’s financial and operational management and with previous international exposure.

They work in partnership with our commercial and industrial clients to design a holistic strategy encompassing energy reporting, energy supply and energy management programmes and to actively track and evaluate the performance of that strategy over time. In addition, they assist clients in GHG emissions reporting, designing and executing a customized decarbonization strategy across Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver clear, analytically supported presentation material for client education and advisory on renewable procurement strategy.
2. Lead client discussions to facilitate stakeholder alignment and shape strategies reflecting stated goals, priorities, and constraints.
3. Demonstrate expertise in market, regulatory, and renewable transactions throughout client engagements.
4. Maintain an understanding of existing and new sustainability solutions and their recognition by key organizations (SBTi, RE100, CDP, etc.).
5. Manage procurement of renewable supply and environmental commodities, including:
6. Design and delivery of sourcing events
7. Proposal analysis and due diligence
8. Post-procurement support
9. Build and maintain counterparty relationships, including those with renewable project developers and environmental commodity sellers, during and outside procurement events.
10. Support business development initiatives by:
11. Assessing opportunities
12. Providing expert product knowledge and trend information
13. Offering consultation on pricing
14. Support the training and development of colleagues.
15. Attend skills training to meet requirements and maintain relevant certifications.
16. Perform other duties, such as presales, as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
17. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent required, preferred in business, finance, communications, or economics
18. 10+ years of professional experience in the context of Corporate Renewable Power Purchase Agreements
19. Experience in client-facing roles at the senior management level
20. Ability to work with and communicate data via Excel and other analytical tools
21. Firm understanding of European energy markets, regulatory policy and competitive environment
22. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and something to prove
23. Fanatical attention to detail
24. Ability to develop strong client relationships
25. High proficiency in English language, international experience
