Applications are invited for the post of Human Resources Assistant based in the Human Resources Department.
There are two positions available: one is a permanent role, and one is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.
Working as part of the wider HR Operations Team, the post holder will primarily provide a high-volume, effective recruitment service for the College in a timely manner. The post holder will provide accurate advice on policies, their application, and good HR practices, and will use an online recruitment system and other advertising media to place and advise on recruitment. The post holder will operate as part of the wider HR Operations Team, providing support on the full employee life cycle where needed.
Strong communication and time management skills are required for this role, along with the ability to work well under pressure, maintain excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate ongoing application of one's own initiative. Significant experience of working in a similar role and strong IT skills, including the use of an online recruitment and electronic HR and payroll system, are required.
