Job Title: Resort General Manager
Salary: Up to A£35K + benefits
Location: Lake District
I am working with a client who is looking for a Resort General Manager for their venue in the Lake District. We are looking for someone with a hospitality background to lead a team and manage the operations for these holiday apartments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance the profit and growth of the business by providing strategic leadership
2. Support all departments to ensure their operations perform successfully
3. Lead by example and ensure a fantastic experience for the guests
4. Ensure all health and safety and compliance requirements are met
5. Monitor and manage all costs to maximise profitability
6. Continuously strive to improve guest experience
7. Recruitment, training and development of the team
The ideal candidate:
1. Management experience within hotels, resorts, lodges or aparthotels
2. Confident leader
3. Rooms Division or Front Office Management experience
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Fluent in English and an understanding of German
6. Forward thinking and people focused
