Maintenance Coordinator - Dorking
Salary: £32,000
Hours: 39 hours, Full time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Controller for our clients Commercial site in the Dorking area. This is a superb opportunity for a Maintenance Controller to work for a busy and well-established leading market company.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Develop, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Work with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
Monitor and track inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure availability.
Identify potential areas for improvement in maintenance processes and recommend solutions.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex equipment issues.
Provide support to the operations team in achieving production targets.Key Requirements:
Proven experience in maintenance coordination or similar roles within the Engineering, Manufacturing, or Automotive sectors.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) is a plus.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a keen attention to detail.Desirable Skills:
Technical qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive environment.
Certification in Health & Safety or relevant industry-specific training.Benefits:
