Our mission is to build a best-in-class creative team, where our imagination and creativity will redefine the possible to make unforgettable customer experiences. We have a rare opportunity to join our in-house Creative Hub, within Aviva’s Customer & Marketing department.
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Lead to join our in-house creative team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the creative direction of our projects, leading a talented team of designers to deliver innovative and impactful creative that aligns with our brand and business objectives. This is a great role for someone with brilliant creative energy and communication skills, who can lead ideation sessions and be a supportive leader.
The Creative Hub is a dynamic team with a strong collaborative culture. The wider team is made from multiple specialisms across strategy, conceptualisation, campaign management, design, copywriting, content creation and production. The Creative Hub works across all of the main product areas of Aviva. You’ll report into the Creative Director and work closely with the Studio Operations Lead in ensuring the day to day needs of the business and Creative Hub are met.
The role is fast paced and multi-faceted. You’ll partner with the Creative Director to deliver campaigns and implement new technology to increase creative effectiveness and speed to market. The role suits strong interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders, team members and key production partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creative Direction: Lead the creative delivery and visual execution of customer first campaigns, image banks and playbooks that enrich the overall customer experience and journey. Execute creative strategies that elevate our brand and resonate with our target audience.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Team Development: Create an inspiring environment where creativity thrives and team members can widen their skill sets and improve their craft.
* Project Management: Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand business goals and translate them into compelling creative solutions.
* Innovation: Stay future focused through trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
* Efficiency: Implement new tools and tech to drive efficiencies, speed to market and consistency. Roll out production best practices, keeping up to date with different production methods and technologies.
* Client Engagement: Present creative concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and value of the proposed solutions.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all creative outputs meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent and cohesive visual identity across all channels and customer journeys.
* Guidance: Lead internal teams and external agencies on our visual identity and find the best ways to tailor it according to customer, channel and context.
* Sign Off: Ensure all design and creative is on brand and follows our financial regulation principles and DEI framework.
Experience:
* Exceptional experience of leading an internal creative studio or agency studio team.
What you’ll get for this role:
* Starting salary between £60,000 and £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
* Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
