Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
* Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure all learning objectives are met
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Provide feedback to regular teachers and school staff on student progress and behaviour
* Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
* Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
* Ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning atmosphere
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in Special Education Needs (SEN) or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
* Work in various schools across the Lancashire area
* Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities or long-term placements
* Collaborate with different teaching staff and school teams
