The Defence Rigs team define, support, and execute experimental rigs testing covering Development & Legacy programmes within the Defence Sector. Management and integration of technical requirements including estimation, planning & management of cost & schedule. Management of Integrated Project Team (both internal & external resources) including Risk & mitigation management. Proposal, management, and integration of supply chains including: Documentation and communication of technical issues, test and inspection results. Managing of technical audits and project reviews & Customer & stakeholder management. Support development of new tools, testing techniques and procedures to increase the effectiveness of the Rig Management Engineer role and the wider organisation. Who we’re looking for Candidate qualifications will be a mix of HNC, HND and degree level and this will be reflected in the starting grade. Knowledge of gas turbines, engineering standards and processes. Project Management experience in planning, controlling budgets and driving to schedules. Strong Communication Skills.
