The Restaurant
Operating in Mayfair for over a decade, Gymkhana is inspired by the bars, social, sports, and members’ clubs of the British Raj in India. It serves contemporary Indian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients, with a strong focus on the tandoori oven. Since its opening in 2013, Gymkhana has garnered numerous accolades, including its first Michelin star and, in 2024, a second Michelin star, making it the first Indian restaurant in London to hold two.The restaurant was also named Restaurant of the Year by Restaurant Magazine and BMW Square Meal in 2014.

The position
As Bar Manager you will have experience in managing at least one outlet, you will have excellent understanding of cocktails, beers and spirits, be outgoing, driven and flexible. The successful candidate will be on the floor and the bar, assisting with training, rotas, stock and cost control.
The Successful Bar Manager will have:
Prior experience as a Bar Manager within a high-quality restaurant or bar,
Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
Passion for beverages, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;

You have a proven track record as a Bar Manager in a high quality Bar, where you have honed your craft and developed an in-depth understanding of mixology.
Your ability to create unique and trendsetting cocktails, alongside your vast knowledge of beverages, will set you apart.
