Role: Bids & Proposals Manager

The Bids and Proposals Lead will oversee the full lifecycle of bid management, ensuring the creation and submission of high quality proposals aligned with the companies UK's Business Winning process. This role involves leading dedicated bid teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full bid lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant proposals.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and streamline bid processes.
* Analyse customer requirements, organise kick-off meetings, and develop response strategies.
* Lead proposal reviews, including Shipley colour reviews and governance approvals.
* Oversee bid budgets, maintain compliance, and provide reports to senior leadership.
* Support capture planning and continuous improvement of bid processes.
Skills & Experience:
* Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
* Proven experience managing complex bids and proposals, preferably in defence/naval sectors.
* Knowledge of Shipley, APMP, and business development processes.
* Strong writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, CRM, and proposal tools.
Preferred:
* Defence/Naval sector experience.
* Familiarity with COTS hardware and systems.
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary bid teams.
