Key Responsibilities
The Management Accountant, as part of the Commercial Finance Team, will support PC24 business areas by delivering financial expertise. Responsibilities include running budget holder meetings, producing monthly management accounts including the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments, conducting variance analysis, and providing insights on financial and operational performance. Further responsibilities also include the generation of income and expenditure statements and maintaining the integrity of the financial ledger to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
About You
* Be at minimum part qualified with ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* 2 years minimum management accounts experience, including working knowledge of the budgetary control systems and working with budget holders
* Ability to explain financial information to finance and non-finance managers
* Evidence of ongoing CPD
* Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables etc).
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and develop a range of options for action
