Falmouth Fairfax is excited to partner with a prominent international property development, investment, and asset management company based in London. We are looking for a Property Accountant to join their team. Our client has a substantial portfolio of prestigious office and retail assets in the UK, Continental Europe, and Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Accountant interested in working on international portfolios. The role is a fixed-term contract for 12-14 months.

Remuneration:
£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
The Role:
The role provides an opportunity to work on international portfolios, reviewing quarterly management accounts, which include Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review quarterly accounts (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and ensure deadlines are met.
2. Analyse monthly cash flows and property portfolio variances, resolving discrepancies.
3. Collaborate with asset managers on annual budgets and business plans.
4. Prepare the board book and lead the year-end audit with external auditors.
5. Manage corporate administration for non-UK companies, including tax oversight.
6. Handle inter-company balances for accurate portfolio payments.
7. Review VAT and tax returns, addressing discrepancies.
8. Support asset managers in financial reviews of prospective tenants and lease cash flow modelling.
9. Prepare financial documents and contribute to internal memoranda.
10. Assist the Finance Manager with projects and other ad-hoc Finance Department duties.
Requirements:
1. Background in financial accounts, specifically in the property industry.
2. Currently part-qualified as an accountant, with 3-4 exams left to complete.
3. Excellent organisational abilities combined with a solid analytical approach.
4. Skilled in MS Excel and Word.
5. Open to travelling abroad if necessary.
6. Prior experience with organisations outside the UK is a plus.
