Our Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for a GMP Specialist Project Manager to join our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a Project Management role where they have gained knowledge and experience of defined benefit pension schemes, with significant GMP experience.

We undertake pensions administration for over one million members and provide advisory services to schemes and corporate sponsors in respect of schemes of all sizes, including 88 with assets over £1bn.
The Role
* Take ownership of the GMP project. Drive the GMP project forward, ensuring action is taken and momentum is kept.
* Ensure coordination between GMP equalisation and GMP rectification.
* Ensure coordination between all parties.
* Feed in comments from the client and legal advisers, where relevant.
* Keep actions and timescales on track, incorporate additional ad-hoc actions when required.
* Lead client meetings. We would expect the GMP project manager to be client facing, presenting results and advice to the client.
Your profile
* The successful candidate will be a GMP expert with full knowledge of GMP reconciliation, rectification, together with understanding equalisation processes and technical matters.
* Client/Project Management experience from concept to implementation.
* Thorough understanding of DB Pensions schemes.
* IT proficient in MS Office.
* Ability to create and manage documentation.
* Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
* Flexible approach to work pressures.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
* Strong belief in adhering to deadlines and quality service.
* Effective interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and build long-term working relationships at all levels, both internal and external of the organisation.
* Able to recognise the need for a customer focused approach to their delivery both in terms of quality and exceeding customer expectations.
