We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and drive health and safety initiatives across our organization. This is a key role for someone who can balance operational safety with strategic planning, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.
4. Lead safety training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with management to promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the organization.
7. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports and training logs.
8. Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors on all health and safety matters.
What We're Looking For:
1. Education: A degree or diploma in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
2. Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is essential.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Qualities: Leadership ability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving safety challenges.
