We are seeking to recruit tutors to teach "Skills for Professions" courses to adults at our York Campus. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about their discipline and keen to share knowledge and skills with other adults to support them in developing knowledge and exploring career opportunities. The courses are Level 1 and Level 2 (depending on the subject) in the following areas: Animal Environment Engineering Horticulture Public Services Sport These certificated Award courses are 50-75 hours and can be delivered in the daytime as well as evenings and weekends, so we are seeking part time tutors and offering flexible hours opportunities. Tutors already delivering for the college are encouraged to apply for additional teaching hours (paid separately). The courses are designed to provide introductory vocational knowledge and skills to learners who wish to explore the range of career opportunities, those investigating options for broader and higher levels of study in the area and learners who wish to update or add to their current skills and knowledge.
