Electrical Supervisor (Sub-station Works)
Based at Manchester Airport, working on our long term framework
* 45 Hour Week with overtime opportunities

* Supervising/working with existing multi skilled team on site
This a great opportunity for an electrical background supervisor to gain further experience of the airport sector, and supervising turnkey projects involving construction, civils & MEP services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee electrical installations and commissioning activities for commercial, industrial, and sub-station projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
Manage and direct on-site electricians and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Deep understanding required in HV / LV Sub-stations – primary role is to deliver LV works however a good knowledge of HV / LV demarcation and management of appointed HV specialist as Principle Contractor.
Inspect and verify all electrical work to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to client specifications and industry regulations.
Enforce health and safety protocols on-site, conducting safety checks, risk assessments, and tool-box talks to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in planning and scheduling daily activities, coordinating with other trades and project management to ensure smooth project progress.
Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site as needed, working closely with procurement to avoid delays.
Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain project momentum and mitigate delays.
Documentation: Complete daily site reports, track project progress, and maintain accurate records of work completed.
JIB Card holders desirable, but not essential
DBS check would be required to be undertaken (You must have been continuously resident in the UK for at least the last 5 Years, and be able to provide previous employer employment confirmation letters, without significant gaps in that period)
