Role Purpose
* Assisting the Commercial Finance teams with the management accounting for the Energy Portfolio (Europe, Asia, Africa).
* Working with the Commercial Finance teams to improve business efficiency and commercial decision making by enhancing management information, reporting, and financial forecasting.
* Assisting the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant with month-end and financial accounting for the Energy portfolio (Europe, Asia, Africa).
* Ensuring that processes are followed to provide and maintain a strong financial management and control environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Work with Finance teams to assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet packs.
* Keep Event trackers reconciled and up to date with actual spend from Financial Force on a regular basis.
* Assist with the reporting of weekly sales reports when required.
* Work with the Finance teams on the budgeting and forecasting process across the Energy portfolio.
* Provide quality analysis and reporting insights where required.
* Support the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant with month-end processes.
* Ensure a strong financial control environment is maintained.
* Carry out any reasonable project work or ad hoc tasks as requested.
* Attend training and development as required.
