Student Program Overview The Stellantis Student Program is a part-time position requiring employees to work year-round, 24 hours per week (Monday-Friday during normal business hours). Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, student employees may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Program highlights include: Flexible part-time schedule Competitive pay Participants will gain valuable field experience Participants will add value to the organization through their work assignments Potential academic course credit DEPARTMENT DETAILS The Well-Being Health and Safety (WBHS) student employees will support and aid in administering standardized Health & Safety processes to ensure compliance to federal, state, provincial and local regulations and corporate policies and procedures. The WBHS student employees will help achieve world class status and impact corporate savings through the elimination of occupational injuries/illnesses, property damage and improvement of production efficiency as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all employees. The specific position will focus on health and safety compliance, Wellbeing, Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001), and health and safety improvement goals. This role will directly aid in the day-to-day processes that support WBHS. The WBHS student employees will be required to work on-site at the Dundee Engine Plant, located in Dundee, Michigan. Basic Qualifications Pursuing a post high school degree. Willing to work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round. Preferred Qualifications Working towards a degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, Science, or related field. Graduation date of April 2026 or later Strong leadership characteristics Strong interest in manufacturing and manufacturing operations in the automotive industry Strong interpersonal skills GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale) Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills Previous internship with an automotive manufacturer
