Job Purpose: To work and learn with the installation team in the field Reporting to: Senior Engineer Key Focus We have opportunities throughout the UK for on-the-job training within our highly experienced AV installation team. You will follow our training programme which is set up to move at a pace to suits each individual.The role will include assisting with Audio visual equipment installations on customer sites, learning how to read job specific documents, site plans, Risk Assessments & Method statements. As well as understanding and solving practical problems; detecting and repairing system faults.There are opportunities once basic training has been completed to work in Europe in addition to works across the UK. Key Skills Driving Licence. Good time management. Good computer skills Maybe required to travel long distances. Lifting heavy equipment. Flexibility required as out of hours work may be necessary. May be required to stay overnight in hotel accommodation. Initial Training Understanding job specification documents. Good understanding of Audio-Visual installations Learn all the different equipment required Reading and Understanding information supplied Maintenance of Van, Stock, Tools and PPE to Company Standard. Use of hand and electric tools with confidence Good interpersonal skills, liaise colleagues and customers. Working at heights using ladders, podiums steps, scaffolding sometimes confided spaces.
