Payroll Specialist - Retail *Advertised by OA West End\n\nWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our client's team. This role will play a key part in supporting the Payroll & Benefits Manager, handling a variety of payroll and HR administration tasks. You will manage payroll processes, benefits administration, and support HR projects, ensuring smooth operations within the HR and Payroll functions.\n\nJob Title: Payroll Specialist\n\nIndustry: Retail\n\nContract Type: Permanent \n\nSalary: up to £45,000\n\nPayroll Processing:\n\nSupport the Payroll & Benefits Manager in monthly payroll processing, ensuring the accurate gathering and inputting of payroll data (starters, changes, and leavers).\nManage team member benefits on the Flexible Benefits platform.\nGather and send payroll information to the outsourced payroll company for Ireland.\nProcess various payroll elements such as overtime, annual leave, and sickness.\nManage the payroll inbox and respond to payroll and benefit queries.\nEnsure data accuracy across systems (ADP, SuccessFactors, Quinyx, and Flexible Benefits Platform).\nMaintain process notes for payroll and benefits administration.HR Administration:\n\nIssue employment contracts and supplementary information for new starters.\nTrack and chase reference checks for new starters.\nPrepare change letters and references.\nManage the administration of starters and leavers, coordinating with IT and other teams.\nEnsure the integrity of team member life cycle documentation and process.\nMaintain team member listings and e-files with an ongoing right to work checks.\nSupport during audits with the Payroll & Benefits Manager and Head of Compensation & Benefits.\nManage team member life events gifting (maternity, paternity, and adoption).\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and drive automation.\nSupport Finance with PSA submissions to HMRC.\nRaise purchase orders for supplier invoices.\nParticipate in relevant HR projects and initiatives.\nUndertake any other reasonable ad hoc duties as required.Requirements for the Role:\n\nExperience:\n\nPayroll administration experience, ideally in the retail or a similar sector.\nProven track record of managing multiple projects independently.\nStrong analytically skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.\nExperience with Success Factors, ADP, or similar HRIS and payroll systems.\nExperience working with outsourced payroll providers is a plus.
