Senior Key Account Manager

THE JOB ROLE
As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders in both new and existing target Pharma customer accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve predefined account-level goals.
* Customer Engagement: Increase engagement with and demonstrate the value of our existing solutions to key stakeholders.
* Sales Growth: Achieve quarterly and annual renewal and new business sales targets by cross-selling and upselling our solutions.
* New Business Acquisition: Identify and acquire Pharma target accounts that currently do not subscribe to our services.
* Customer Advocacy: Act as an enthusiastic advocate for our customers, driving dialogue to increase engagement, improve user experience, and discover opportunities for new product and service development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers to drive revenue growth across our solution set.
* Conduct regular meetings (online and in-person) with key stakeholders to implement account plans and develop key contacts.
* Generate new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from existing customers to achieve personal revenue targets.
* Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase product engagement and revenue.
* Ensure full client satisfaction post-sale through collaboration with the customer success team, ensuring successful product/service embedding.
* Maintain accurate records of account plans, opportunities, and activities within Hubspot (CRM system) to a high standard.
* Manage new and renewal business pipelines effectively.
* Highlight potential new product development and product extension ideas to the wider business and collaborate to commercialize those opportunities.
* Maintain and expand key stakeholder relationships to achieve account-level outcomes defined in account plans.
ABOUT YOU
The following expertise and experience are required:
* At least 6 years' experience in a customer-facing sales role with a proven track record in strategic account management.
* Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and value-adding solutions.
* Experience selling SaaS, data, and/or subscription services.
* Pharmaceutical/Life Science experience or experience selling to Pharmaceutical/Life Science companies.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Excellent presentation skills with the ability to confidently present a variety of products/services at the executive level.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven sales skills with documented evidence of regular sales target achievement/overachievement.
* Proficient in Outlook and MS Office.
* Experience working cross-functionally with support functions (Product, IT, Marketing).
Any experience with the following will be beneficial:
* Experience working in regulated markets desirable.
* CRM e.g Hubspot and/or customer support software.
