An exciting opportunity for a permanent Job share Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to head up C3 Acute medical ward has arisen. We seek a self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and effectively manages changing priorities to meet clinical and operational needs.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse key responsibilities are to:
* Ensure 24-hour accountability, including line management of the ward and delivery of high-quality care.
* Support and contribute to the development of patient care within the Directorate.
* Ensure junior staff and students receive appropriate supervision and assessment.
* Facilitate the daily running of the ward, liaising with the wider team of medical staff and allied health professionals.
