Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor with SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience to join our team in South East England, specifically in Berkshire, Reading. This is a temporary position with Part-Time hours in the Education and Training industry.
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored academic support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met
* Create engaging and inclusive learning materials and activities
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate a holistic learning experience
Required Qualifications:
* A relevant degree in Education or a related field
* Recognised qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Tutor with a focus on SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated understanding of SEN strategies and methodologies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working Part-Time hours on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be based in Berkshire, Reading, and will collaborate closely with students, teachers, parents, and support staff to deliver high-quality educational support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
