Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Business Administration Apprentice role located in Counteshorpe, Leicester. The Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for supporting day-to-day business operations, assisting with administrative tasks, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the company.
Duties:
1. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
2. Reporting to management.
3. Assist with clerical duties such as answering phone calls, sending emails, filing, photocopying, printing and scanning documents.
4. Provide administrative support to team members, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
5. Maintain an organised office environment.
6. Communicate effectively via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers and colleagues.
7. Support the team in various projects as needed, contributing ideas to improve office processes.
8. Successfully undertake and complete the apprenticeship - Business Administrator - Level 3.
9. Working towards producing on-site documentation with support, including health and safety, stock management and PPE/materials.
10. To undertake appropriate training for this role.
Fluent in both verbal and written English is essential for this role. Driving licence and own vehicle desirable, but not essential.
Skills:
1. IT Skills & experience of working with Microsoft Office/365.
2. Some knowledge of cloud based systems.
3. Familiarity with clerical and administrative tasks.
4. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Competence in using both paper based and computerised systems for documentation and reporting.
6. Ability to type efficiently with a focus on accuracy.
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment while contributing to our team's success.
Fixed term contract for duration of apprenticeship, with the potential to become full time permanent contract once apprenticeship completed.
Full-time hours, Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm with lunchbreak, 1 day expected college per week during term time.
