Training and Planning ManagerLocation: THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday – Some weekend work needed.
Salary: £23,000 - £24,380
The holder of this position is responsible for providing error-free administrative support across the spectrum of Training & Compliance activities and in doing so, contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives within Thorpe Park Technical Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support efforts to develop and continually improve organisational capability to ensure full compliance with both internal and external requirements.
2. Coordinate and advise on implementation of appropriate tools and mechanisms to support attainment of compliance requirements.
3. Raise awareness of the scope of compliance requirements across the Thorpe Park operation, while enhancing general communication regarding compliance issues.
4. Research and raise awareness amongst stakeholders of requirements and specifications that impact activities at Thorpe Park.
5. Promote and demonstrate commitment to robust document management.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinker and ability to multi-task.
2. Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
3. Competent user of Microsoft Office, with moderate proficiency in Excel e.g. manipulating data, using formulas, identifying errors, searching, filtering, conditional formatting, performing lookups, making charts, and self-lead research of new functions.
4. Awareness of HSG175 Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks: Guidance on safe practice.
5. Awareness of industry guidance such as LOLER, PSSR, COSHH, etc.

This role is a full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week. Although this is largely a Monday-Friday role, due to the nature of the business this will include weekends, bank holidays and some late evenings as required.
