Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to assist with all aspects of sales and lead generation, to find opportunities for growth within targeted industrial sectors, and maintain relationships with many key accounts in various industries such as: Defence, Marine, Power & Water.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
1. Excellent communicator at all levels to negotiate best outcomes for the company.
2. Must be able to work individually whilst being a member of a small team.
3. Tasks and priorities are allocated by the Sales Manager.
4. Strong sales background dealing with similar industries.
5. Knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) would be beneficial.
Requirements:
1. Hold full UK Driver's License.
2. Have a British or dual passport.
3. Will need to pass DBS & BPSS vetting.
4. Live within a commutable distance from Milton Keynes.
Summary of Duties:
1. To produce commercial and technical proposals.
2. To discover new opportunities and contacts in targeted market sectors - there will be a bias to building contacts and projects within the Marine industry.
3. Follow up quotations and close business.
4. Involvement in research and development and marketing.
5. Monitor and interact with tendering portals and report on opportunities.
6. Attend meetings with the customer at their site or offices across the UK.
