We have an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to join a Privately Owned Housebuilder, and to lead the site team on a Brand New Development of 2,3 and 4 bed luxury homes. The Builder has a solid reputation who really look after their staff. They are in the market for a quality driven site manager to oversee a Brand New Development of over 100 Units. You will be involved from the very start.its programmed to deliver 50 Units a year and has about 3 years from start to finish. They are looking for someone that has proven background in managing busy developments from inception to completion. In a nutshell, they want someone that can hit the ground running Key Responsibilities Ensures and always oversees a positive culture of health and safety onsite to ensure a safe working environment. Responsible for ensuring that every home is built to the specified design and standard, with the aim of zero defects, focusing on the delivery of excellent customer service Responsible for maintaining Construction budgets on their project and making sure Project Construction costs are controlled with no compromise to quality, health and safety or customer service in order to achieve profit targets. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality homes in line with the agreed project programmes, planning and coordinating all suppliers and trades to make sure they deliver in line with the critical path, identifying slippage and developing action plans to ensure programme time is recovered Works in line with site plans and strategy to ensure the project is executed in line with the appraisal Implements industry best practice and innovations across their project and works with external bodies such to create better, safer or more cost-effective ways of working. To develop and maintain effective relationships with key external parties, including all external consultants and sub-contractors, building on existing networks Towards the end of the build, manages the final stages so that everything is completed to the specified design, quality and deadline Develop and ensure safe working practices Experience, Skills and Knowledge required NVQ 6 Construction Management (Preferred) or at least a HNC in Construction Trades Background Preferred SMSTS Appropriate CSCS card First aid trained Scaffold Awareness/Inspection Full UK driving license IT literate If you would like further information on this excellent opportunity, then please contact Danny at HBF for a confidential discussion.
