Stirling Council is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, maintaining, and optimising the technology systems that support our essential public services. Your expertise in software deployment, systems administration, and database management will help ensure that our IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and enabling scalability. As an IT Analyst, you will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, engineers, and business analysts to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the council's operations. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Conversant with Security, Data Protection and Health and Safety Issues
* Knowledge of current ICT issues
* Detailed knowledge and experience of at least one key specialism (for example software development, User support, application management)
* Educated to HND level or equivalent or holds a suitable professional qualification
Desirable:
* Familiar with relevant industry frameworks and standards such as OSIAF or ITIL
* Has gained experience in the introduction and use of information systems, with some experience of managing projects
* Practical knowledge of at least one phase of the systems development life cycle
* At least 3 years relevant experience
