We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Beaverbrooks Repairs department as a Repairs Communications Assistant. As Beaverbrooks’ Repairs Communications Assistant, you will be responsible for responding to all emails and phone calls within an agreed deadline. You will confirm all customer estimates to send onto stores, advise stores on any general enquiries or repair queries they have, and provide regular updates to our stores, office colleagues, and external partners on the status of customer repairs.
The Repairs Department at Beaverbrooks focuses on providing information on repairs and services. Within this role, you will be required to work well within the team and to your own initiative as necessary. As a team, we strive to provide a quality, efficient, and knowledgeable service; making the best decision, every time.
Main Responsibilities
* Communicate with stores, manufacturers, and workshops via phone and email
* Confirm customer estimates to stores
* Advise on general enquiries and queries
* Chase outstanding customer repairs with suppliers
* Process post: sort and divide store repair parcels
* Generate and update reports relating to customer repairs
* Provide general admin support to other areas of the department

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience of, and passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative
* Excellent typing speed and the ability to respond quickly and effectively during phone calls and emails
* Computer literate and a confident user of Microsoft Excel & Word
* Empathetic, caring, and an active listener
* Self-motivated and results-driven
* Ability to demonstrate objective complaint handling
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience in a similar role providing customer support via telephone and email
* Experience of working to process
* Knowledge of working with jewellery
* Flexibility to work additional hours to support business requirements at peak times
