JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading Data Centre Developer who are looking for a CSA Manager to join their brand new project team in Oxfordshire.
Overview
The CSA Manager will be the client on site lead managing the design and construction of all elements of the CSA of the project. As part of the Development & Construction Team the role will focus on the development of the project campus but will also involve work on other EMEA projects.
Responsibilities
* Our client are about to commence another large-scale date centre soon on our expanding campus in addition to managing the ongoing CSA construction
* Lead the management of the CSA construction through the entire project delivery period. The role requires proactive management of all areas of the CSA Design and Construction across the project
* Be involved in the MEP planning and construction expanding knowledge in this area whilst assuming more management of MEP scope over time
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the client’s project management team
* Coordinate with EU Dev central engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines
* Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and update internal and external stakeholders on construction activities. Review Consultant and Contractor pre-qualifications and advise on scope gaps, value engineering and CSA best practice
* Manage all vendors to achieve all statutory approvals and compliances
* Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
* Supervise construction, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
* Use your CSA expertise to ensure all lessons learned are captured for subsequent delivery phases
Requirements
* Be a key link to the client’s tenants, solving their issues and gaining their trust to become a trusted go to partner
* Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that construction meets project specifications and industry standards
* Conduct regular inspections of workmanship, materials, and equipment to identify and resolve deficiencies
* Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from project requirements and implement corrective measures as necessary
* Drive CSA related project issues to a successful conclusion, seek advice from colleagues where necessary to solve project challenges, build teams to deliver results, champion the client’s core values
* Ensure Health and Safety is prioritised on site and as part of the design, in conjunction with the wider client project team Always drive best practice Health and Safety on the client’s construction sites and workplaces. Develop a working knowledge of OHSA Health and Safety standards
