Ki is the biggest global insurance tech company you’ve never heard of, unless you’ve been looking to insure a satellite, wind farm or music festival recently.
Having written over $877m in gross written premium in 2023, we’ve achieved significant growth since our beginnings in 2021. Our investors were excited about the fact we were revolutionising the way a 333 year-old industry was working. There are hardly any industries left that are mainly paper based, but the specialty insurance market is one. Together with partners at Google and UCL we developed Ki and created a platform that helps insurance brokers place risk in a fast and frictionless way. We’re continuing to lead the charge on the digitisation of this market and we need more excellent minds to work with us to realise this goal and create more opportunities.
Purpose of the Role
As the HR Coordinator, you will work across the full employee lifecycle supporting the HR Business Partner. The role requires a strong generalist with previous strong HR administration, and a desire to develop as an HR Generalist. As we continue to build out our HR function, policies and procedures this is a fantastic opportunity to input and influence the shape of our HR strategy.
Within this role, you will support across recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, leavers, L&D, ER and HR Projects. In conjunction with the Recruitment Business Partners, you will support the resourcing process and strategy by managing headcount requests, creating job descriptions, and liaising with recruitment on benchmarking. You will also support across preparation of offer paperwork, pre-employment screening, onboarding and induction for new employees. You will work with the Rewards team on cyclical processes, like the annual Total Compensation Review, as well as reflecting compensation and reward changes on our HRIS. You will work closely with the HR Business Partner in reviewing and updating policies to ensure compliance against best practice, as well as supporting across grievances and disciplinaries where appropriate.
