Position: Children's Support Worker/Carers (Full Time)
Salary: £12.00 per hour without Level 3 qualification and £12.25 per hour with the qualification.
Location: Walsall (WS4)
Hours: Full-time - 7.00am - 9.00pm

For Support Worker positions although an understanding of the role is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills
* Experience working with children
* Ability to drive
* Knowledge of childcare practices
* Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
* Basic IT skills
The role
* You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
* Facilitating social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice. Supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.
* The role requires you to undertake all aspects of day to day household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. Our young people also need to be supported to manage their personal care and hygiene.
