The Candidate:
Nurse Plus is seeking a confident, proactive and analytical Payroll Admin Officer to provide high quality support to a busy fast paced Payroll function. A capacity for learning and personal development is essential also.
Duties will include:
Ensuring the timely and accurate payment of wages by BACS to 2,000 temporary workers on a weekly basis and 240 permanent staff on a monthly basis
Updating and maintaining payroll records
Responding to payroll queries
Assisting with input of new starters, leavers, hours, expenses, SSP, SMP, absences, commissions, changes of personal details and other payroll data
Completing tax year end procedures, including P60s, P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) and other reports
Coordinating all aspects of pensions including auto-enrolment, communications, reconciliations, compliance and salary sacrifice
Creating and providing reports in Microsoft Excel for Finance and Operations teams
Supporting the Projects Team in system upgrades to ensure payroll continues to run smoothly
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills to engage with a range of staff
Keen eye for detail
Proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to undertake all tasks required of the role
A good general knowledge of all payroll aspects
