Your new role
Housing offers so many varied, fascinating and rewarding career paths a lot of people outside our sector aren't even aware of. This is why we're delighted to announce we're looking for a motivated and ambitious intern to join us on a Housing Services Internship where you can start your Housing career.
This paid, 12-month internship will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in Abri, learning how our company works, and getting to grips with a range of housing services we provide to our customers. You will also learn a lot about the sector we work in; its operating environment, challenges, opportunities and future that'll equip you with the knowledge and know-how you need to understand the world of work and kick start a career in housing.
You'll complete three placements lasting four months each with our Scheduling, Housing Partnership and Customer Contact teams, giving you an on-the-ground insight of our services, how they work and how our customers benefit.
No previous work experience is required, all we ask is that you're committed to your own development, willing to learn and bring enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to the teams you'll be working with. In return, you'll gain confidence and experience in administration and customer service as well as an understanding of working life. Throughout, you'll be supported by a mentor who'll oversee your development and be your go-to contact throughout your time with us.
This is a unique opportunity to gain a huge amount of working experience in a short time while receiving all the support you need throughout with the goal of equipping you for your future.
Interviews will take place on the 20th of March 2025 in our Yeovil office.
