Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, supply chain, and production, to ensure optimal technical solutions are consistently delivered. Generate part numbers, bill of materials, and source appropriate components and materials as needed. Produce engineering documentation, including specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, testing procedures, certifications, and reports, as well as reviewing detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation. Ensure engineering solutions are delivered punctually, within budget, and in line with both engineering and company standards and processes, maintaining compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. Serve as the technical approver within the engineering team for all relevant drawings and documentation generated. Knowledgeable about relevant design standards. Background in designing control systems using PLCs, with expertise in industrial automation interfaces (e.g., Profibus, CANbus, Ethernet). Understanding of IEC 61508 for critical applications in programmable systems. Advantageous experience in DC product design. Skilled in selecting cables, connectors, and penetrators. Experienced in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical system design and commissioning, including related calculations. Capable of designing power distribution systems. Competent in specifying, selecting, and managing traction battery systems up to 150 kWh. Knowledge of EMC-compliant electrical systems design. Proven experience as an electrical or product engineer. Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems for managing engineering documentation. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
