Who You Are As a qualified and experienced Social Worker with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in statutory Children's Social Care services, you are registered with SWECC and hold a Social Work Degree or its equivalent. You possess a deep understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004, Adoption & Children Act 2002, and related legislative frameworks along with expertise in assessment and planning tools. Your skills in critical reflection, evidence-based decision-making, prioritization, and communication are exceptional, enabling you to navigate and manage complex, varied caseloads effectively. You are committed to fostering positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families through protective and supportive interventions while upholding professional and ethical standards, including the HCPC Code. What the Job Involves In this key role, you will contribute to the effective delivery of Children’s Social Care Services, managing complex caseloads to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Your responsibilities include preparing written statements and representations to courts, supporting evidence-based decision-making within statutory frameworks, and maintaining timely and detailed records. You will perform direct work with children and families, participate in multidisciplinary forums, and engage in building skills and competencies across teams.
