The opportunity: the role involves managing the Engineering function across two sites, ensuring business objectives are met. Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety systems compliance (ISO 14001:2015 EMS, ISO 45001:2018 SMS), and managing engineering costs and site contracts. The role also involves planned maintenance using a computerized system, data reporting, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, the role includes facilities management, enhancing systems to meet customer specifications, and contributing to business improvement initiatives.
