We're looking for a dedicated CAMHS RAFT Practitioner to join our Rapid Access and Follow-Up Team (RAFT) within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). You will play a key role in assessing, treating, and providing intensive support to children, young people, and their families.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team offering flexible care across clinical bases, homes, and community settings. You'll also be part of a rota covering extended hours, seven days a week, ensuring timely and effective mental health support.

Main duties of the job
* Assessment & Treatment -- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
* Risk Management -- Carry out risk assessments and work collaboratively to ensure safe, effective care.
* Shift Coordination -- Take responsibility for daily team coordination on a rota basis.
* Multi-Agency Collaboration -- Work closely with NHS teams, social care, education providers, and voluntary organisations.
* Supervision & Support -- Provide clinical supervision to Band 4 Child & Family Support Workers and support colleagues in their professional development.
* Service Improvement -- Contribute to audits, service evaluations, and policy development to enhance care quality.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Core Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, OT.
* Advanced training in and/or substantial experience in the use of behaviour and or evidence-based interventions with children and families.
* Qualification in CBT / Counselling / Dialectical Behaviour Therapy / behaviour modification / social skills or group therapy.
Experience
* Significant post-qualifying experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
* Previous experience in a CAMH service which preferably includes liaising with and giving advice to referrers and clients at the point of entry to a service.
