Here are some of the activities you will be involved in… Respond swiftly to vehicle breakdowns, assess the situation, and coordinate immediate assistance to reduce downtime. Act as the main point of contact between drivers, maintenance teams, and management, providing timely updates and support. Arrange for towing, repairs, or vehicle replacements, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of breakdown incidents, repairs, and follow-up actions. Liaise with external service providers to facilitate repairs and ensure high-quality service. Monitor breakdown trends and provide insights for preventative maintenance and performance improvements. Ensure all breakdown-related activities adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes would be an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be liaising with drivers, maintenance teams, and external service providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable handling multiple priorities and making quick decisions to minimise vehicle downtime. Proficiency in software for tracking and reporting breakdowns is required.
