Job Introduction
Brindley OMODA & JAECOO has a fantastic opportunity available for an excellent and ambitious individual to join us as Sales Manager of our busy new dealership in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Sales side of the business. You will focus on achieving and exceeding targets whilst ensuring each customer receives outstanding customer service, while controlling and improving the day to day running of the department. It is important that you maximise commercial opportunities through monitoring and evaluating customer needs and competitor activity in the local market, ensuring campaigns are relevant and targeted.
Brindley Group Managers work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
In this role you will be reporting directly to our Brindley OMODA & JAECOO General Manager.
About the role
* You will lead, motivate and develop the sales teams to deliver the highest level of customer service.
* Maximise the sales volume and profitability of both new and used cars and finance and insurance products for both sites.
* Promote and maintain excellent customer relations by personal manner, appearance, integrity, and loyalty.
* Maintain brand standards and build outstanding relationships with the brand.
* Liaise with the manufacturer and at minimum achieve their volumes / targets / relevant Market Share, CSI and other aspirations as appropriate.
* Ensure the Sales Teams are trained to the applicable Standard required by the Manufacturers Training Platforms.
* Have an excellent working relationship with Brindley Fleet Department to satisfy their side of the business.
Candidate requirements
* Strong experience, gained from a similar role within a car dealership environment.
* The ability to coach and draw the best performance from the people you manage in a manner that builds team spirits.
* Prioritise the need to have an understanding of the relevant consumer and local market influences.
* Possess an energy and genuine regard for the importance of the customer to the sustainability of the business and introduce changes in practice when necessary to ensure excellent levels of service.
* Experience of analysing and interpreting all types of commercial data, in order to put in place appropriate solutions to ensure business success and growth.
* Have the ability to anticipate and act proactively as well as responsively.
* Have strong management and leadership skills.
* Be highly organised with attention to detail.
* Fully understand how to deliver an ‘end to end’ service to customers.
* Be enthusiastic and results driven.
* Have a desire to succeed and meet and exceed our expectations.
* Be fully computer literate with experience of dealership systems.
* Be knowledgeable about the local area in a way that will benefit the business.
