We are seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced Assistant Catering Manager to work alongside our Catering Manager to manage and further develop the catering facility within our school. The job involves assisting with the cooking of school meals, supervision of staff, serving pupils, washing up and cleaning duties. The person appointed should have a flexible approach to the role to meet the needs of the school. A knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety and previous catering experience is desirable. The working hours worked will be 7.45 am - 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday during term time only. This includes a 30 minute break. You must be able to speak English to a competent standard to allow you to clearly communicate with colleagues and students and you must be fit enough to stand for periods of time as well as being able to lift and move large food trays.
